If you’re nodding along, we’ve got the perfect role for you. We’re looking for a Finance & Legal Lead to join the Core Team for We Are Sales – the largest sales event in the Benelux!

As the Finance & Legal Lead, you’ll take ownership of all financial aspects and legal matters, ensuring the event runs smoothly from a financial and contractual perspective. You’ll manage the budget, oversee contracts with partners and vendors, and keep the team informed about all financial and legal matters.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the Event Budget: You’ll track and manage the event’s budget, ensuring all expenditures are within limits and reporting on financial performance.
  • Oversee Contracts: You’ll review and manage contracts with sponsors, partners, and vendors, ensuring all legal agreements are clear, fair, and followed.
  • Handle Invoices & Payments: You’ll manage invoicing through tools like Odoo, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Create Financial Reports: You’ll generate regular financial reports, keeping the Core Team informed about the event’s financial status and providing insights into revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Ensure Legal Compliance: You’ll make sure all legal matters are handled, including agreements, GDPR compliance, and any other legal obligations.
  • Collaborate with Partners & Vendors: You’ll work closely with partners, sponsors, and vendors to make sure financial and legal aspects are handled smoothly.

What You’ll Need:

  • Finance Skills: You’re comfortable managing budgets, tracking expenses, and creating financial reports.
  • Legal Understanding: You have a basic understanding of contracts and legal obligations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Organizational Skills: You’re detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks, ensuring financial and legal matters are in order.
  • Knowledge of Odoo (a plus): Experience using Odoo for invoicing and financial management is a bonus, but if you’re confident in your finance and organizational skills, we’d still love to hear from you.
